Television and race helicopter

The helicopter that provides live video footage for Versus during the Amgen Tour of California and relays radio signals for the race radio between race staff and teams.
I was watching on TV, and looks like they had really severe reception problems while the peleton was in the hills.
I think they say that the rain interferes pretty badly with the radio signals, too. The video from the motorcycles on the road goes up to these choppers for relay also.
